Before I take a short winter break, I wanted to share this reflection.

For those of you I haven’t met in person, I trust that you’ve been doing what the parents in our Parenting Redefined community do so well:

  • showing up
  • learning
  • finding your way through the messy, meaningful moments of raising your unique child

It takes a committed and thoughtful parent to seek out resources, read, reflect, and stay curious throughout the year. I’m grateful you’re here, and I look forward to more connection points in 2026.

For my Social and Cognitive Learning Center parents, I want you to know this clearly: I did see you.

  • You were gritty, tenacious, and vulnerable.
  • I saw the effort, the patience, the tears, and the breakthroughs that only come from a deep commitment to your children and your family.

For all parents:

  • You’ve done work that isn’t often visible, but it’s the kind that changes the trajectory of a child’s life.
  • You had days that stretched you and moments that softened you.
  • Days when you were proud you started with connection first — and nights when you watched your child sleeping with feelings of regret.
  • Times when you weren’t sure what to do — and others when you saw something new click for your child.

You did the quiet, powerful work of building trust and connection — the foundation for friendship and emotional development.
All of that is growth. For both of you.

As this year comes to a close, I invite you to pause and notice:

  1. What did you understand about your child this year that you didn’t before?
  2. What helped you stay steady when things felt hard?
  3. Where did you grow right alongside them?

If you’d like to share your reflections, I’d truly love to hear them. You can reply to the newsletter email or reach out directly — I read every message.

I’ll be back in the new year, ready to share more and to continue supporting families in meaningful ways. This community means the world to me, and I’m deeply grateful you’re part of it.
