When it feels like your child is the only one

It can feel lonely

Maybe your child has a hard time at recess or lunch, and you mostly hear about it second hand. Family and friends may care a lot and still not quite get it, so it can feel like you're the only parent carrying this.

Then other parents share

One dad in our group put it this way. His son has had a hard time at recess, and it often seemed like his son was the only one. Then other parents in the group started sharing what recess and lunch look like for their kids, and he realized he wasn't alone in it at all.

You're not carrying it alone

That's what this group is for, and you get time with me and with other parents who just get it.

What it's like to be in the group

1

You can jump right in

Everyone in the room is raising a child like yours, so you can share what happened this week without explaining your whole family story first.

2

Ideas from parents who've been there

Another parent's story often sparks something you can try at home, like adding a little adventure to a hike or putting a shoe basket right by the door.

3

Room for the hard days and the wins

Some weeks there's a clear next step and some weeks it's just hard, and the group is there for both. You'll get to cheer on each other's wins too.

4

Guidance from me every session

Each session starts with a short teaching from me, and then we talk through the real situations you bring, so you leave with something specific to try.

See what a session looks like

Here's a 10-minute part of a real session, so you can see what you're joining.

Your privacy matters, so only the teaching part of each session is recorded and shared with members, and our open group discussion is never recorded.

What you get each month

2 live group coaching sessions with me

We meet on Zoom twice a month, and each session opens with about a 20‑minute teaching from me, followed by open coaching and discussion.

A group of parents who get it

Hearing each other's wins and challenges makes this journey feel a lot less lonely, and you'll often leave with an idea from another parent.

Your real‑life questions

Bring what's coming up with your child to the session, or send it to me ahead of time if that's easier, and we'll talk it through together.

Replays when life gets busy

Life with kids is full, so it's okay if you can't make it live. The teaching is recorded for you to watch anytime, and you can join the group conversation whenever you're able.

The group is where you try what you're learning in real life, come back and talk about how it went, and get help with the next small step.

What parents in the group say

★★★★★

"It was so natural to just jump right in and talk about the issues we were concerned about and laugh, as only parents who are raising neurodivergent kids can. No explaining, no apologizing, no feelings of judgment or insecurity. Just feelings of solidarity and support for ourselves and one another."

★★★★★

"If you want to experience a place where you have a chance to speak, are heard, receive relevant and actionable advice that works, feel supported and laugh, then come on in and join!"

Mom of a 15-year-old
★★★★★

"I have been able to establish a trust with my child since I have started coming to the group, as Noriko emphasizes there is no going forward without taking the time to establish a calm, trusting relationship with your child. It has made a huge difference in how I parent."

"The parent group offers an immediate sense of community, since we have similar experiences. It can feel like a relief."

Mom of a 13-year-old

"I often come in feeling excited to learn the topic of the day, which are always timely and relevant, and afterwards I feel less stressed about parenting my child."

Mom of a 15-year-old

"It's helpful to just jump in, and not have to add a whole bunch of context/qualifiers before being able to share challenges. It's also nice that sometimes it's just hard, and there isn't an easy fix to try."

Dad of an 11-year-old

"It is a low stress, low pressure environment where you can listen, share, and participate freely, while taking Noriko's comments, advice, and suggestions."

Mom of a 13-year-old

"It's always a bit of a poke of energy to continue to try new things, or experiment in places that haven't quite been working right."

Dad of an 11-year-old

"Even if you don't have advice to offer, it helps to feel that you are not alone and others truly empathize with the challenges, or likewise celebrate the successes, that we have with our children."

Mom of a 13-year-old

"The suggestion to put a basket for clearing away shoe clutter right at the door was perfect... making it easy for my neurodivergent family to easily put away their shoes without me having to remind them."

Mom of a 15-year-old

"It's great to meet other parents who are dealing with similar issues in their lives. I often feel very isolated, so it's nice to have a group that understands. I really appreciate the education and guidance. In many parent groups, people vent and share experiences, but there isn't much support around what to actually do. This group provided both."

Group coaching member

"I love the calm and nonjudgmental way Noriko teaches parents to become more aware of their relationship dynamics with their child. The guidance helped me better understand what was happening beneath the surface, and I looked forward to continuing the sessions."

Group coaching member

"The one-line responses for different parenting situations were incredibly helpful. They gave me a way to pause, understand what was happening, and respond more intentionally instead of reacting automatically."

Press play to hear from me

Even after our very first session, I could feel the understanding, connection and support between all of the parents. When we meet again, parents share how they tried what we talked about at home, and those small wins add up.

I'd love for you to be part of it.

A note from a mom in the group

"Please give it a try, no pressure to stay, it is a very flexible support group, and so worth the time and money to be able to have a space for yourself with others who get it."
